Former LA Lakers star and Free-agent Nick Young has signed a one contract worth $5.2 million with the NBA champions Golden State Warriors.
The deal was announced by Mark Bartelstein his agent and the signing is seen as a sort of coup for Golden State Warriors as Nick Young had a great season for LA Lakers. The 32-year-old baller will play an important role for Golden State Warriors as they do need some back up to defend their title next season.
This makes him the second signing for Golden State in 24 hours as the team also scooped Omri Casspi to the team more formidable.
More Targets For Golden State
Golden state is still targeting free agent JaVale McGee who is also considering a move to the Clippers. But might favour a return to the NBA Champions.
A Refreshed Nick Young
Nick Young scored an average of 13.2 points per game for the LA Lakers last season. The move was made easier by the fact that Luke Walton, his coach at Los Angeles Lakers has a close relationship with the management and coaches of Golden State Warriors and was impressed by his display last season.
Nick Young has enjoyed 10 seasons in the NBA and has featured for the Lakers in the last four seasons.
