Alexis Sanchez’s Future Worries Me – Wenger

Arsenal skipper Alexis Sanchez has just 18 months left on his contract with the Gunners is beginning to attract interest from other English and top European clubs.

This is a cause of concern for Arsene Wenger who stated that their biggest task is to hold on to their star man, although the Manager has always maintained that the club is in talks with the Chilean and are very confidence in getting a deal done.
With just a year(2018) left on his contract and there’s has been rumours suggesting the manager will hold a negotiation meeting with the Chilean after the final match of the season, but that has encouraged a lot of suitors in Europe who are now keeping track.

Alexis Sanchez has always voiced out his desire to challenge at the top level of the game and has not hidden his desire to play with European elites and there are rumours that Bayern Munich is on his trail.

However, his stand could change if the Gunners outwit Chelsea in the FA Cup final in their final game of the season as this would mean, they won’t go the second year without a silverware.

Wenger Out?

Arsene Wenger’s future is also a cause for concern for everyone at the club as it is believed that he might leave after the game against Chelsea and players are holding off on signing new contracts until they are sure of whom they will be playing under, which can be unsettling for any player regardless of their status.

Wenger has not made any statement reassuring the players that he would be at the Emirate next season so it would be difficult to say the same for Alexis Sanchez who might want to look elsewhere for Champions League football.
