Before you say Bill Clinton, that isn’t true. Actually, Hillary Clinton is placing the blame on the FBI director. Her campaign feels that the reports created problems for those that already didn’t trust Hillary. And, Donald Trump sealed the deal by calling it a ‘rigged system’. Aides claim that even suburban white women turned the other cheek, when they were reminded about Clinton’s email scare. Previously, they were indecisive, but the email story pushed them to the other side.

In the beginning, Clinton’s campaign was going strong. She was able to get the lead in the toughest states. But, Clinton is quick to say that they dropped the ball. “We had to keep really pushing to regain our advantage, which going into last weekend we had”, says Clinton. “We were once again up in all, but two of the battleground states. And, we were up considerably in some that we ended up losing. And, we were feeling like we had to put it back together.”

When it comes to a close political race, the loser will normally have someone to blame for their loss. When Barack Obama was running for his first presidency, he was up against Mitt Romney. After his loss, Romney said to his donors that his loss had to do with Obama making promises to bestow gifts to various special interest groups in the Democratic Party; primarily young people and non-white Americans.

Although some can question that being the reason for Obama’s victory, Clinton has a better argument. An internal memo was issued by the campaign that addressed why Clinton came up short. The memo stated: “There is no question that a week from Election Day, Secretary Clinton was poised for a historic win. Late-breaking developments, in the race, proved one hurdle too many for us to overcome.”
