Man, 69, passes on after watercraft inverts in Findhorn Bay territory

A 69-year-old man has passed on after his watercraft inverted in the Findhorn Bay territory of Moray.

Police and other crisis administrations had reacted to reports of a man in trouble at around 13:45 on Saturday.

The occurrence occurred as a yacht hustling occasion was being held in the region.

The man was brought shorewards yet kicked the bucket at the scene. Police said no further points of interest would be discharged until he has been formally recognized.

A representative said there were no clear suspicious circumstances.

A report will be submitted to the procurator financial.
