Steve Harvey was jabbing fun at self-improvement books on his television show on Monday night. The 59-year-old was chuckling when he read the title of one of the books: How to Date a White Woman: A Practical Guide for Asian Men. Harvey, in the wake of chuckling for a few seconds, had then asked the gathering of people, “Do you like Asian men?”
The TV implied it as a rhetorical question as he then bowed his head twice and said “Not thank you” using an accent. A camera panned to a lady in the group of onlookers who was seen giggling. The lady alongside her had an uncertain demeanor all over, most likely stunned at what she simply heard and not knowing how to respond.
The comic kept on jabbing fun at the book, distributed in 2002, saying that he pondered what might be inside the book. The three-time Daytime Emmy Award champ said the book would most likely be just a page long, including that he couldn’t understand ladies preferring Asian men when he didn’t like Chinese food.
This most recent upheaval from the comedian is coming only two weeks before he is set to have the Miss Universe event in the Philippines. The Philippines is home to the present Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach and is situated in Southeast Asia.
Harvey facilitated the regarded occasion last December where he conferred one of the greatest bumbles ever on live TV. There were two candidates left in the opposition, however the Family Feud have proceeded to crown the wrong victor, Miss Ariadna Gutierrez of Colombia. Gutierrez had separated in tears, waving and making a gesture of blowing kisses to the group as she was given flowers with a crown set on her head.
Incredibly, Harvey withdrew his announcement and reported that “the first runner-up is Colombia. Miss Universe 2015 is Miss Philippines.” The announcement was met with murmurs and boos from the group of onlookers as Wurtzbach was stunned as the crown was removed from Gutierrez’s head and put on hers.
