“I’ve never been so angry and disappointed in somebody in my whole life,” revealed Kris Jenner in a recent clip from an episode of her hit television show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”
That somebody ended up being Caitlyn Jenner, known formerly as Bruce Jenner, Kris’ ex-husband.
Issue and Shock
Kris’s issue is Caitlyn’s new tell-all memoir, “The Secrets of My Life,” which had come out this past November, portrays Kris in quite the unflattering manner.
“I read it and basically the only nice thing she had to say was that I was great socially at a party one time,” Kris said to her daughters, stars Khloe and Kim Kardashian. She mentioned: “None of it makes sense. Everything she says is all made up.”
Kris went on to cite an excerpt from the book in which the former Olympian alleges that she was aware Caitlyn identified as being a woman “before I even made love to her.” She responded to that allegation with nothing but pure confusion on her face.
Kim came to defend Kris during one of the show’s confessional segments: “Caitlyn has every right to feel how she feels, but why bring my mom into it one more time?”
Caitlyn Jenner sat down and spoke to Diane Sawyer, an ABC News correspondent, recently for the second time for a follow up to the previous and famous original interview during which she first announced her gender transition. Their interview will be airing later this month, and the Olympian will discuss her “mistakes” and “regrets” she felt she made throughout the previous two years.
“Do you ever have doubts that you did the right thing?” asked Sawyer during their “20/20” special entitled “Caitlyn Jenner: The Secrets of My Life,” and Jenner answered with, “Have I made mistakes? Certainly.”
During Sawyer and Jenner’s 2015 exclusive interview, Jenner originally said, “For all intents and purposes, I am a woman.” Jenner said at the time.
